RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The 26th World Congress of Lymphology offers to all participants and mates the possibility of enrich their experience in Barcelona by offering a series of recreational activities that will allow you to better know Barcelona and its surroundings. Our proposals include cultural, gastronomical and architectural aspects.

*Notes for all tours:
Minimum 25 people are required to operate these tours. If a tour does not take place due to insufficient numbers, the ticket will be reimbursed in full. Otherwise please note that tickets for excursions are non-refundable.
On-site requests for tours are welcome but cannot be guaranteed.
Tours includes private chartered car, English speaking guide, entrance fee of all tour places, toll and parking fee and when mentioned in the itinerary and meals.

One-day trip that takes you from Barcelona to two major towns located in northern Catalonia: Figueres (with its landmark Teatre-Museu Dalí), and Girona (a monumental city, which is home to one of Europe’s best-preserved Jewish quarters).

Inaugurated in 1974, the Dalí Theatre-Museum contains the broadest range of works spanning the artistic career of Salvador Dalí and it has to be seen as a whole, as the great work of this surrealist genious. More information on Dali’s Theatre and Museum here.

An exciting journey into the origins of cava!

Codorniu is the story of a wine-producing family that dates back to the 16th century. Codorniu is a symbol of integrity and innovation in the world of cava and an example of caring for and respecting the land and its products, to which it dedicates the utmost attention and the finest available resources. In 1895 the Modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch (Gaudi’s coeval) was hired in to enlarge the winery. The building built represents the fruitful alliance between nature and human labour, and it was declared National Historical-Artistic Heritage in 1976. More information on Codorniu cavas here.
